After flying high against Stonington two weeks ago, Ledyard came back down to earth. The Colonels lost to the Fitch Falcons at home by a 30-14 margin on Thursday. The Colonels' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Ledyard lost, don't look at Jackson Favry. Despite the final result, he rushed for 168 yards and one score. Favry's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 168 rushing yards.

The critical scores for Fitch came from Mark McBride, Evan Spader, Porter Carter, and Anthony Spader.

Ledyard's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Fitch, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Ledyard is taking a road trip to face off against Law at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fitch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
