Adding to the longest winning streak in Cook Inlet this week, West beat Palmer 26-23. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Service took down Dimond 47-27 last week, the largest margin of any game. CJ Toomer threw for 227 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 41 yards in the win.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Cougars' Toomer and Thavun Srisaneha have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Toomer has thrown for 2,654 yards this season, while Srisaneha has 38 catches for 759 yards. West's Lui Fa'amasino leads the league in rushing yards with 702.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Tim Davis' team and Service. The Eagles comes into the matchup ranked third in the state, while Kevin Kern's team ranks fourth.
West and the Moose played the closest game in Cook Inlet this week, with West eventually emerging with a 26-23 victory.
