The Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Incline 49-11 on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Coral Academy of Science - Reno as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Leading Coral Academy of Science - Reno to victory were Ashleen Kaur and Kailyn Damasco. Kaur scored six points along with seven steals, while Damasco scored 14 points. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Jacquelyn Lupercio , who scored seven points along with six steals.
Despite the loss, Incline saw an underclassman step up: Riley Hunt scored six points. Hunt scored a full 54.5% of Incline's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Coral Academy of Science - Reno's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Incline, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Yerington the next time they take the court. Incline will head out to face Yerington at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Coral Academy of Science - Reno will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
