Foster has won four straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Interlake has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Bulldogs will host the Saints at 7:00 p.m.
Foster blew Sammamish out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Sammamish got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the RedHawks by a score of 29-26.
Foster might have lost, but man, Cameron Pan was a machine: he rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns. Benjamin Cantor also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.
Foster didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Vincent Mao and Kurshawn Boycan.
Meanwhile, Interlake took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-7 victory over Cedarcrest. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 20 points or more this season.
Foster better keep an eye on Julian Hayes. He was instrumental in Interlake's win, throwing for 323 yards and six TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 68 yards and one score on only seven carries. Thanks to that big game, Hayes is now up to 23 passing touchdowns on the season. Max Stephenson was Hayes' top target, picking up 152 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Interlake didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Cedarcrest to a completion percentage of just 43.8%. The Saints have been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.64 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.64 in their last three games.
Foster's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Interlake, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Thursday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Foster has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 221.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Interlake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 150.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Foster couldn't quite get it done against Interlake in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 15-7. Will the Bulldogs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
