Basketball Recap: Coleman's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

Coleman lost against Shiocton back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coleman Cougars took a 66-47 bruising from the Shiocton Chiefs. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

With the defeat, Coleman broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Shiocton, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coleman will challenge Wabeno/Laona at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Shiocton will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Crivitz at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Shiocton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Crivitz likes a good challenge.
