Xavier had won five straight games and Peter Heaney did his part to make it six on Thursday. The Knights came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 22-21 W against the Fordham Prep Rams thanks in part to Heaney, who rushed for 203 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He has been hot, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Fordham Prep lost, don't look at Luke McKay. Despite the final result, he rushed for 93 yards and one score, and also picked up 41 receiving yards.

Xavier's record is now 11-2. As for Fordham Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
