On Friday, The Lakeside Lions got themselves on the board against the Franklin Quakers, but the Franklin Quakers never followed suit. They walked away with a 7-0 victory over the Quakers. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lakeside.
Despite the loss, Franklin still got an impressive performance from Sir Tuck, who rushed for 155 yards. Tuck really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Franklin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Lakeside will play host again and welcome Lake Washington, where Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Washington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lakeside in Washington (Lake Washington is ranked 108th, while Lakeside is ranked 248th). Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
