Immanuel Christian is a perfect 10-0 against Trona since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Crusaders will welcome the Tornadoes at 3:15 p.m. Immanuel Christian has given up an average of 12.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Michaela Morgan was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Blakie, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Meanwhile, Trona hadn't done well against Mojave recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Tornadoes' pitcher stepped up to hand the Mustangs a 15-0 shutout. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tornadoes yet this season.
Lily Mehan made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Chloe Corrion was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Amy Dabdoub was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs.
Trona always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Trona now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Immanuel Christian, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Immanuel Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Trona struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Immanuel Christian got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Trona by a conclusive 15-1 score. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
