The Temple Christian Academy Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Westgate Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Temple Christian Academy has nine straight wins, Westgate Christian has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Even though Oakwood Christian scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Temple Christian Academy still came out on top. Temple Christian Academy secured a 62-58 W over Oakwood Christian.
Temple Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeramy Trangmar out in front who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. Trangmar is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Moses, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Westgate Christian's game back in December of 2023 was all tied up 36-36 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 80-73 hit to the loss column at the hands of Temple Christian Academy. Westgate Christian has not had much luck with Temple Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Temple Christian Academy's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points per game. As for Westgate Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
Temple Christian Academy beat Westgate Christian 80-73 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Does Temple Christian Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westgate Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
