After flying high against Dixie Heights on Tuesday, Cooper came back down to earth. The Jaguars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlands Bluebirds on Thursday. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Bluebirds recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Highlands to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hayden Gessner, who had 19 digs and three aces. Gessner is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Audrey Sorrentino was another key player, getting eight digs and two aces.
Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Highlands, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.
