Treyton Fletcher and Omani Johnson certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Fletcher scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks, while Johnson scored eight points along with ten rebounds and two steals. That was a full 48.8% of Littleton's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Heritage's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trystan Rangel, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Carter Thompson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Littleton bumped their record down to 4-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
Littleton will be playing at home against Dakota Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Dakota Ridge's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 games. As for Heritage, they will head out on the road to square off against ThunderRidge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. ThunderRidge will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.
