Basketball Recap: Council Rock South Drops Highest Score of Season Against Neshaminy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Council Rock South). They secured a 65-61 W over the Neshaminy Skins on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Golden Hawks: when they faced off against the Skins back in December of 2024, they had to take a 50-49 defeat.

Neshaminy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Currie, who went 9 of 15 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds. Logan Gale was another key player, going 7 for 12 on his way to 17 points.

Council Rock South has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Neshaminy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Council Rock South will welcome Harry S. Truman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Neshaminy, they will be playing at home against Council Rock North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
