The Bedford Bisons were the 47-46 winner over the Penn Cambria Panthers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Bedford fell 64-52 to Penn Cambria on Monday. Bedford has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Bedford had strong showings from AJ Koontz, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds, and Jacob Wilson, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Koontz has scored all season. Quincy Swaim was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists and two steals.
Bedford bumped their record down to 3-12 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Penn Cambria, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Greater Johnstown the next time they take the court. Bedford will host Greater Johnstown at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while Penn Cambria will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
