Volleyball Recap: Reagan Reece's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calvary Day School over Greensboro Day School + How To Watch

After flying high against Caldwell Academy on Tuesday, Calvary Day School came back down to earth. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Greensboro Day School Bengals on Thursday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bengals earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 23-25, 25-22.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reagan Reece, who had 31 assists and 15 digs. Reece has been hot, having posted 16 or more assists the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Katheryn Tate, who had 24 digs and two aces.

Leading Greensboro Day School to victory were Caroline Sadjewski and Hayes Brabham. Sadjewski had 20 digs and three aces, while Brabham had 13 digs and four aces. Those 20 digs gave Sadjewski a new career-high.

Calvary Day School's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Greensboro Day School, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-13 record.

Calvary Day School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Gaston Christian on the 14th.
