Last Saturday, Ramapo faced Bergen Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Ramapo came out on top against Bergen Catholic by a score of 69-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Ramapo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chris Cervino, who scored 21 points along with two steals. Cervino is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Wyatt Eglinton manner was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Arts' good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Immaculate Conception by a score of 49-47.
Ramapo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.
