They walked away with a 52-39 win over Union. That's another feather in the cap for Elizabeth, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Elizabeth's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Johnson, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Christopher Clark, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Elizabeth's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Union, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Elizabeth will be home for the holidays to greet Plainfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union, they will head out on the road to face off against Linden at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
