While Landmark Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged out the Handley Tigers 38-35. Those 38 points were actually the fewest the War Eagles have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Landmark Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Charm Husband, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 14 points and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Husband has scored at least a third of the War Eagles' points. Katie Kinsinger was another key player, putting up ten points.

The win was the third in a row for Landmark Christian, bringing their record up to 4-1. As for Handley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Landmark Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Galloway at 6:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Handley, they will venture away from home to take on Oxford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
