They managed a 79-74 win over Princeton. Given Great Crossing's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked first in Kentucky, while Princeton is ranked 101st in Ohio), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Great Crossing got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Malachi Moreno out in front who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Godfrey, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Great Crossing's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Princeton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Great Crossing will take on Western Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Princeton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakota East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
