The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wright City, who defeated 183rd ranked Bowling Green, 35-28.
Evan Milner and Luke Longstreet provided fans with a highlight when they connected against North Callaway. The connection went for 55 yards, the longest such play in Eastern Missouri this season.
Milner threw for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 13-16 with 1 interception.
Milner put up the best numbers in passing as Montgomery County topped the Thunderbirds. Milner's favorite target this week was Longstreet, who caught 2 passes for 69 yards.
North Callaway's Cole Branson and Miguel Hudson have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Branson has thrown for 916 yards this season, while Hudson, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 27 catches for 386 yards. Jack Hicks from Clopton/Elsberry leads the league in rushing with 577 yards.
The Hawks are in fourth place, while the Bobcats are in second place.
Clopton/Elsberry was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, Mike Scheibel's team defeated Van-Far 44-8.
