There's no place like home for Omaha Northwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Lincoln High Links by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Links, too.

Omaha Northwest got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The final score came out to 32-30, 25-23.

Malea Robinson paced Omaha Northwest's offense, picking up six kills. Robinson got some help from Makynzie Mclaws and her eight assists. Finally, Na'Zjae Hubbard kept Omaha Northwest's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Omaha Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Lincoln High, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Omaha Northwest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Benson on the 18th. As for Lincoln High, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lincoln Lutheran on the 19th.
