McIntosh has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 66-46 margin over Citronelle. Given McIntosh's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Citronelle is ranked 356th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Clarke County got the win against Choctaw County on Tuesday by a conclusive 60-40. That looming 60-40 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Clarke County yet this season.
McIntosh's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Clarke County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.
