The Dominion Academy Sabers came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Calvary Christian by a score of 37-28. This was payback for Dominion Academy, who suffered a 40-34 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Dominion Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Gebhart, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rachel DeGregoria, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.

As for Calvary Christian, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-2.
