Triad won the last time they faced Belleville East and things went their way on Thursday too. Triad put the hurt on Belleville East with a sharp 11-4 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Triad's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Horn, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Lil Lintz also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Triad and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Belleville East, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Triad will face off against Belleville West at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Belleville East, they will square off against Naperville North at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
