The Eldorado Sundevils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Bonanza on the road and fell 62-33. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Eldorado in their matchups with Bonanza: they've now lost three in a row.
Eldorado lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elisa Flores, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Torrico Lopez, who scored 12 points.
Eldorado bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bonanza, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eldorado won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southeast Career Tech at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Southeast Career Tech is ranked 77th, while Eldorado is ranked 85th). As for Bonanza, they will head out on the road to face off against Somerset Academy Losee at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
