At the plate, East Columbus got a massive performance out of Mackenzi Clemmons, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jenna King, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Ashley can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against West Brunswick by a score of 6-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 17, 2023, but that streak is no more.
The team relied heavily on Vayda LeQuire, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Rigdon, who scored a run while going 3-for-5.
East Columbus pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ashley, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-14.
Ashley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: East Columbus hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .445. It's a different story for Ashley, though, as they've only averaged .205. Will they be able to contain East Columbus' hitters?
East Columbus came up short against Ashley in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 8-5. Can the Gators avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
