After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Allen, Central was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gore Pirates 38-7. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Central now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Gore, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Central will face off against rival Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gore is set to challenge their familiar foe Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
