The Calvary Christian Warriors will head out to face off against the Sarasota Sailors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.
Calvary Christian barely beat Trinity Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors blew past the Celtics 13-3 on Saturday. Considering the Warriors have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Morgan Spinner spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Claire Caoili was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Rylee Vigue, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Calvary Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Sarasota earned a 4-1 victory over Braden River on Monday. Those four runs were actually the fewest the Sailors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
Gemma Mulhollen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Mulhollen was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Mulhollen wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Madison Culbertson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Calvary Christian's record now sits at 7-2. As for Sarasota, their record is now 6-0.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Calvary Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Sarasota struggles in that department as they've averaged .409. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Calvary Christian's way against Sarasota in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Calvary Christian made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
