Shawnee came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Del City Eagles get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Shawnee now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Del City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-15.

Looking ahead, Shawnee will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop McGuinness at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Fighting Irish have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Del City, they will head out to face off against Carl Albert at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
