Players to Watch Madeline Brown, Divine Savior Holy Angels – Brown earned second-team all-Greater Metro as a junior, averaging 12 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
Emma Close, Wauwatosa East – Close was named first-team all-GMC and WBCA all-state as a junior, tallying 14.7 points, 2.0 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. The Division I Northern Illinois University recruit went 59-for-129 from three.
Ellie Deprey, Wauwatosa East – Deprey was voted second-team all-league as a junior, averaging 11.7 points per game while making 78 of 195 from behind the arc. Ellie is committed to Division II Purdue Northwest.
Kate Janssen, Menomonee Falls – Janssen, a Division III UW-River Falls commit, tallied 8.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.3 steals per game as a junior.
Maya Kovacic, Brookfield East – Kovacic was named first-team all-GMC and WBCA all-state as a junior. The Division I University of St. Thomas recruit averaged 18.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. Maya also made 36 of 97 from three.
Mikaia Litza, Wauwatosa East – Litza was named Greater Metro Player of the Year and WBCA all-state as a junior. The Division I DePaul University recruit averaged 17.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 3.3 steals per contest. Mikaia also connected on 33 three-pointers.
Mallory McCoy Hamilton – McCoy will step into an impact role for the Chargers.
Josie Piurkowski, Brookfield East – As a sophomore, Piurkowski was voted first-team all-conference, averaging 12.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game. Josie also went 55-for-149 from 3-point land.
Dylan Romero, Brookfield Central – Romero was voted first-team all-GMC as a junior, tallying 13.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. She is committed to Division III Carthage College.
Maddie Stocks, Germantown – Stocks will take on a leading role after averaging 5.2 points and 2.0 assists per game as a junior. The Division III UW-Eau Claire commit went 39 of 98 from behind the arc.
