Holy Family has gone 8-2 against Erie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Holy Family Tigers will challenge the Erie Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Holy Family is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Summit to the tune of 86-44 on Friday. Holy Family has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 25 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Rocco Howes, who went 9 for 12 on his way to 22 points and eight rebounds. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Schott, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points and four steals.
Holy Family smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Erie, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They slipped by Rocky Mountain 67-66 on Friday.
Holy Family better focus on containing Christopher Smith and Patrick Hahn as the pair were huge in Erie's win. Smith went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points, while Hahn went 7 of 8 on his way to 16 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Callen Gebhardt, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 11 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.
Erie has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Holy Family, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Holy Family and Erie are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Holy Family hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 62.9 points per game. However, it's not like Erie struggles in that department as they've been averaging 57.3 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Everything came up roses for Holy Family against Erie when the teams last played back in January of 2022, as the squad secured a 61-34 win. Does Holy Family have another victory up their sleeve, or will Erie turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
