The Norwayne Bobcats won the last time they faced the Smithville Smithies, and things went their way on Friday too. Norwayne simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Smithville 41-7 on the road. The result was nothing new for Norwayne, who have now won eight games by 26 points or more so far this season.
Norwayne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dillon Morlock, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown. Mason Moyer was in the mix too, providing Norwayne with two touchdowns.
Norwayne's victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-1. As for Smithville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Norwayne will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 442nd, while Norwayne is ranked 102nd). Smithville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
