Another player making a difference was Easton Dishman, who rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries.

Calhoun Academy's win was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for River Oaks, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Calhoun Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lee Academy at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Lee Academy is ranked eighth in Arkansas, while Calhoun Academy is ranked sixth in Mississippi).
