The Windsor Forest Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Appling County at home to the tune of 99-54. That looming 99-54 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Windsor Forest yet this season.
Windsor Forest's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Page, who scored 27 points. The game was Page's third in a row with at least ten points. Troy Smith was another key contributor, scoring 25 points.
Despite the loss, Appling County still got an impressive performance from Lj Nance, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Dj Solomon, who scored ten points.
Windsor Forest is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Appling County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor Forest will face off against Vidalia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Appling County, they will head out on the road to face off against Toombs County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Toombs County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 65.8 points per game.
