Basketball Recap: Coral Reef Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Coral Reef extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Gianmarco Altare. The Coral Reef Barracudas had just enough and edged the Homestead Broncos out 59-57 thanks in part to Altare, who posted 16 points. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

The win got Coral Reef back to even at 3-3. As for Homestead, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Coral Reef will head out to square off against Westminster Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Reef knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Westminster Christian likes a good challenge. As for Homestead, they will welcome Miami Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
