Austin is 0-10 against Milby since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Buffs at 5:00 p.m. Austin is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
Austin is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Sterling with a sharp 17-1 win on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Brandon Ramirez
Brandon Ramirez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Austin is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-9 otherwise. Ramirez was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Greg Leon, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those triples were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chritian Gonzalez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Milby, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over Westbury on Friday.
Armando Briagas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Yahir Perez was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Austin picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-10. As for Milby, their win bumped their record up to 11-3-1.
Austin might still be hurting after the 8-2 loss they got from Milby when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
