Whitko's win came from a few key players Northfield will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caitlin Beer, who had 15 digs, ten kills, and one block. Those ten kills gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Meredith Hindbaugh, who had nine digs, six kills, two aces, and one block.
Northfield's record now sits at 18-8. As for Whitko, their record is now 12-13.
Northfield skirted past Whitko 3-2 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Norsemen since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
