First Assembly Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season. They blew past Hart 2 Hart Academy 62-29 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win First Assembly Christian Academy has posted since December 4, 2023.
First Assembly Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Ta'Bryant Wooden, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Quintin Roberts, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 steals. Wooden is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jausten Rivera, who scored five points along with ten steals.
Even though Northside Christian Academy has not done well against Gainesville Christian Community recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Northside Christian Academy came out on top against Gainesville Christian Community by a score of 35-26. The victory was just what Northside Christian Academy needed coming off of a 65-27 defeat in their prior game.
The victory makes it two in a row for First Assembly Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 12-2. Northside Christian Academy's record is now 4-6.
