Arlington Christian waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins but they left with five. Everything went their way against The Weber School as Arlington Christian made off with a 74-52 victory. Arlington Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arlington Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chezi Essel, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Essel has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rico Williams, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Arlington Christian now has a winning record of 7-6. As for The Weber School, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Arlington Christian will head out on the road to challenge Hills Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hills Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Arlington Christian likes a good challenge. As for The Weber School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Pisgah Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
