Dike-New Hartford (Dike, Iowa) extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 18-6 victory over
Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, Iowa) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Carson Parker touchdown run in the first quarter, the Wolverines led 10-0 at the half.
Dike-New Hartford expanded its lead to 18 points entering the fourth quarter. DNH scored two times in the third, including once on a passing touchdown.
Sumner-Fredericksburg's lone touchdown came on a 4-yard pass from undefined to
Josh Arens in the fourth quarter.
The Dike school went into the matchup giving up only 8.4 points per game.
The loss comes after Sumner-Fredericksburg defeated North Fayette Valley 41-30 last week.
