Having just played yesterday, the Yucaipa Thunderbirds will jump right back in to play the Kaiser Cats at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Yucaipa is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Yucaipa has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 21 points or more this season. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 65-33 stomp they got on the road against Granite Hills.
Yucaipa's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tristan Doty led the charge by scoring 12 points. Malik Young was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Kaiser made easy work of Jurupa Valley on Tuesday and carried off a 58-37 victory. That 58-37 margin sets a new team best for Kaiser this season.
