If Dolores wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dove Creek, they should've done a better job of containing Nicholas Aragon. The Bulldogs walked away with a 20-12 victory over the Bears on Thursday with plenty of help from Aragon, who rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards.

Although Dolores took the loss, they still got scores from Deven Winter and Darren Hicks.

Dove Creek's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Dolores, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-2.
