Bossier moved up to 109 from 147 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A District 1. The Bearkats were able to make the jump by topping Lakeview 59-20.
Bossier took down the Gators 59-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
North DeSoto's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Griffins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Simmons has thrown for 228 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Damien Boone has four catches for 200 yards. Aurren Cooksey leads the league in rushing with 587 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Loyola College Prep takes on Michael Concilio's team. At the moment, the Flyers are in third, while the Bearkats are in second.
Bossier made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,106 from 6,923. The improvement was the result of 59-20 victory over Lakeview last week.
