Everything went their way against Living Word Lutheran as Brookfield Academy made off with a 77-55 win. Given Brookfield Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Living Word Lutheran is ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
When it comes to explaining why Living Word Lutheran lost, one person who can't be blamed is Easton Oliver. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Oliver is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Weissenburger, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Brookfield Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Living Word Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
