The Crofton Warriors pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Battle Creek 62-56. Crofton has not had much luck with Battle Creek recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite the loss, Crofton still got an impressive performance from Braxston Foxhoven, who scored 27 points. Those 27 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Allen, who scored 11 points.
Crofton's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Battle Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Norfolk Catholic the next time they take the court. Battle Creek will host Norfolk Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Crofton will host them at 7:45 p.m. on January 13th.
