Welch found their leader in underclassman Dakota Bidwell, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 0 assists. That's the first time this season that Bidwell scored 15 or more points. John Hardin was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Welch's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for South Coffeyville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Welch and Commerce will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
