Noli Indian added to the longest winning streak in Warrior (8 Man) this week by beating Palm Valley, 50-8. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Braves.
Nuview Bridge led the league in scoring this week by notching 68 points on Bloomington Christian. Jasper Andrade ran for 390 yards during the win.
The Knights' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kevin Arroyo threw for 126 and 2 touchdowns and Jay Williams had 65 yards receiving. On the ground Andrade chipped in 390 yards. Kevin Duran helped Nuview Bridge's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 30 yards.
Andrade was a beast in the backfield as Nuview Bridge defeated the Ravens.
Andrade was a passing and rushing force as Jermaine Williams' team bested Bloomington Christian. Andrade's key target this week was Williams, who caught 2 passes for 65 yards.
Williams was the best receiver in the league this week as the Knights topped Rick Howard's team. Duran helped Nuview Bridge's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 30 yards.
Nuview Bridge's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Arroyo has thrown for 471 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Williams has 21 catches for 264 yards.
The top two teams in Warrior (8 Man) will face off this week when first place Noli Indian takes on second place San Jacinto Valley Academy. Last week, Noli Indian bested the FIREBIRDS, while San Jacinto Valley Academy beat Calvary Baptist.
Andrade of the Nuview Bridge is just 81 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Andrade has rushed for 919 yards on 95 carries so far this year.
Clyde Miller's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 338 from 420. The improvement was the result of a 50-8 victory over Palm Valley last week.
