When it comes to explaining why D.H. Conley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ella Pierre-Louis. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. Pierre-Louis has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Moira Skalak was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
D.H. Conley struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as South Central racked up 12 assists.
South Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sabraya Baker, who scored 23 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Baker has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaidyn Boswell, who scored 12 points along with six assists and four steals.
D.H. Conley's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for South Central, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.
