It was a good run, but Service unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Anchorage Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

Dakota Evans paced Service's offense, picking up nine kills. Evans got some help from Tahtiani Keliikipi and her 13 assists.

Service's loss dropped their record down to 23-10-3. As for South Anchorage, they are on a roll lately: they've won 23 of their last 24 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-3-1 record this season.

Service wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Valdez on the 25th. As for South Anchorage, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Dimond on the 25th.
