St. Clair took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity on Friday as they made off with a 39-17 win.
St. Clair's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 23 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 23-0 heading into the break. St. Clair were outperformed in the second half 16-17 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the game. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
St. Clair are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Kingsland next week at 7:00 PM. Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Minnesota Valley Lutheran at 7:00 PM.
