Warren took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Bradford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Dragons narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Owls 3-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Dragons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Warren's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Warren and Bradford could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Dragons (ranked 543rd) will meet McDowell (ranked 101st) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bradford will face off against Port Allegany at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (485 vs. 201).
